Summer Football 25/26 Information

Get excited, Summer Football returns on Friday, 7th November !

Registrations for Summer Football are TEAM based and each division is limited to the first 6 registrations.

We DO NOT take individual registrations (apart from First Kicks) for Summer Football.

Season Dates

The Summer Season kicks off on Friday, November 7th. There will be 7 weeks of competition prior to Christmas with the last playing day being Friday, December 19th.


There will be a break over the Christmas/New Year holidays with the competition returning on Friday, January 16th and running through until the Friday, March 13th (7 weeks, NO summer football on the 6th February due to Waitangi Day. Depending on the setup for Waitangi Day, the 30th January may also be a NO play day. There will also be a NO play day for Movies in Parks – date to be advised)).


The following Divisions are available: (limited to 6 teams per divisions, acceptance is on a first come / first served basis)


Senior Divisions: 7 a Side

Open 1 

Open 2 

Social Mixed and Masters (3 females on the pitch at ALL times) 

The entry fee for Seniors is $400 PER TEAM. This is payable prior to the competition kicking off.

This season there will be a $200 cash prize for 1st place and $100 for 2nd place.

Each team is required to referee a half and teams time their games.


Youth Division: 7 a Side 

Teams MUST be made up of players aged 13-16. A team list will need to be submitted for the Youth Competition.

The entry fee for Youth is $300 PER TEAM. This is payable prior to the competition kicking off.

This season there will be a $200 cash prize for 1st place.

Each team is required to referee a half and teams time their games.



Youth Girls Only Division: 7 a Side 

Teams MUST be made up of players aged 13-16. A team list will need to be submitted for the Youth Competition.

Junior Divisions: 7 a Side

7th/8th Grade

9th/10th Grade

The entry fee for Juniors is $250 PER TEAM. This is payable prior to the competition kicking off.

First Kicks

Our First Kicks programme will continue over the summer and will be overseen by Oratia's Director of Football, Steve Cain.

First Kicks is open to all 4, 5, and 6-year-olds and It is ideal for keeping the kids engaged in the game till next Winter season.


Each TEAM is required to complete the relevant registration form.

We DO NOT take individual registrations (apart from First Kicks) for Summer Football.

ALL team fees must be paid in full before teams are entered into their relevant competition.
