As the All Whites run out to take on Peru on Saturday, young Oratia 10th Grader Keio Mann will be right there with them.

Keio is one of 22 youngsters selected from around the country as part of New Zealand Footballs Player Escort programme.

We got the inside word from Keio himself:"My name is Keio Mann and I am 10 years old. I love playing soccer. I have played soccer for Oratia United for 4 years and also play for my school, Oratia District School.

I feel very lucky and can't believe that I am going to be a player escort for the All Whites vs Peru game. I will be walking out with either the All Whites or the Peru team, I won't know which team till the day. I don't really mind which team as it will be fun being part of it. We are flying down to Wellington and I am SUPER excited."
