It was a privilage to celebrate all our Junior and Youth at the recent prizegivings.
Congratulations to all those who were nominated, and those who took home the Ortia Special Trophies.
A complete list of winners is below:
- Top Goal Scorer – Top Goal Scorer from 9th to 12th Grade in competition rounds
- Top Goal Scorer – Top Goal Scorer from 13th Grade up in competition rounds
- Goalkeeper of the Year – Goalkeeper that has shown great skill & future potential.
- Team of the Year (Oratia Fruit Growers Assn Shield)– Awarded to the Junior / Youth team that embodies the Oratia spirit; both on and off the field.
- Junior Coach of the Year (Taylor Trophy) – A Junior coach who has led with excellence developing fantastic team spirit and sportsmanship.
- Youth Coach of the Year (VAT Coaches Trophy Donated By Val & Tony Fletcher) – Not necessarily the top coach, but shows great dedication to their team & goes above & beyond the call of duty.
- Manager of the Year – (Allan Smallman Memorial Trophy), given to manager that has shown most dedication to their team, great organising skills & all-round nice person.
- Most Outstanding Player of the Year (JAST- Donated by Trevor Brooke) – Most Outstanding 9th to 12th Grade Player that has shown great commitment & dedication to their team & the game itself.
- G & S Trophy (Donated By Glennis & Steve Wood) – Male Youth Player (13th Grade & up) that has shown good Club Spirit & also achieves highly on the field.
- Katie Bowen Trophy – Female Youth Player (13th Grade & up) that has shown good Club Spirit & also achieves highly on the field.

- Daniel May Memorial Trophy – Presented to 13th Grade Player that has showed great club spirit during the season.
- Volunteer of the Year – Wallace Trophy (Donated by Haylee Wallace), presented to a volunteer (usually committee member or delegate) that has gone above & beyond the call of duty to ensure the efficient & successful running of the juniors.
- Oratia Football Club Bruce McLaren 11th Grade Cup for a player showing a great Positive Attitude.
- Coaching Achievement Award (Donated by Cosgrave Trophies) this is awarded to a coach who has had a significant impact on their players during the course of a season. The players, both individually and collectively, have shown significant improvement in all areas of their game under the guidance of this coach.
- Director of Football Award – This is awarded to somebody who has made a significant impact on the group they have been working with within the club. It can be a coach, player or parent and it recognises willingness to involve themselves in, and have a positive influence on, the lives of their group on and off the football field.
